Statement of Faith

We announce our doctrinal position seeking spiritual unity with all brethren sharing a like common faith. We would maximize those truths which make men ONE in Christ, and have no critical interest in the various doctrinal distinctions which tend to divide born-again believers.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, ultimately authoritative Word of God.

We believe there is One God, eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is Deity; that He was born of the virgin, that we are redeemed by His atoning death through His shed blood; that He bodily resurrected and ascended into heaven, and that He will come again in power and glory.

We believe that men are saved through a direct, personal encounter with the risen Lord, at which time they are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. This event we hold to be an experience, rather than a doctrinal supposition.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by Whom Christ indwells each believer enabling him to live a godly life of obedience as he reaches for maturity.

We believe the Spirit unites all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and that together they form one body, the church.

We believe that every Christian shall appear before the judgment Seat of Christ to give an account of his maturity in Christ-likeness (his person), as well as his faithful obedience to the Great Commission (his works). We believe this occurs prior to face-to-face fellowship with God in eternity. We also believe that unbelievers, prior to entering hell, will appear before the Great White Throne to be judged with respect to their persons and works. Thus the future of both the lost and the saved is based upon their stewardship of this life inasmuch as God's judgments are eternal and irrevocable. Consequently a wasted life results in eternal loss.
